Klara LaFleur on uuden polven kitarapopyhtye, jonka musiikissa kuuluu japanilaisen popin herkkyys yhdistettynä shoegazen unenomaiseen rouheuteen. Tee-se-itse hengessä treenikämpällä ja olohuoneissa äänitetty And She Caught a Glimpse of The Ocean taltioi pienistä hetkistä suuria, räiskyviä tunteita.

Klara LaFleur is a new-generation guitar pop band that blends the delicacy of Japanese pop with the dreamy ruggedness of shoegaze. The band's first EP "Mind Sketching" was released in spring 2023 and now it is followed by the debut album "And He Caught a Glimpse of The Ocean" containing a total of 14 songs.
Klara LaFleur's debut album, 'And She Caught a Glimpse of The Ocean', is an array of visual and beautiful glimpses into the intersection of loneliness and love.
The album's tracks embody playfulness and imagination, body and mind, storming like an endless sea. Recorded in a DIY spirit in rehearsal rooms and living rooms, 'And She Caught a Glimpse of The Ocean' captures small moments of intense, explosive emotions. The collection of songs, each around two minutes, varies from one mood to another, forming a sensual musical revelry. The music combines indie rock and soft art pop, resonating influences from Velvet Underground and Dinosaur Jr. to Kikagaku Moyo and Kate Bollinger. The softness drawn from Japanese city pop and the nodding guitar walls of shoegaze create a dreamy musical journey that one never wants to wake up from.
